FAQs

Where is your office space?

TMWC took on the lease of Suite 201 at 690 Highway 89 (above the Land Trust, across from Big R) in May of 2023. After some construction projects tenants were able to move in and began seeing clients on June 1.

Who can apply for office space?

Mental wellness providers who support Teton County Residents. This can be a therapist, a dietician/nutritionist who has training working with clients with eating disorders, a yoga or massage therapist who has a trauma informed practice, etc…

When is/was the application process?

The first round of applications was in December, 2022. We are currently accepting applications for our waitlist.

How are applicants chosen for office space?

All names are redacted from the initial round of applications in order to ensure impartiality. These unnamed applications are reviewed by a selection committee comprised of individuals in the Jackson Hole community who have a strong understanding of the mental health needs in our valley. No TMWC staff will serve on the selection committee board. Applicants will be assessed based on their need, the services they provide to our community, and their willingness to partner with TMWC.

What are the expectations of the tenants?

Each tenant must host one community event per month. This could be a training for other providers, book club, support group, guided meditation, social hike, screening of a therapeutic movie or show, etc….

Tenants must uphold the requirements of their lease agreements.

How long does a tenant hold a lease for?

The mission of TMWC is to provide affordable, collaborative, and secure office space. Therefore, as long as tenants are compliant with their lease agreements and continue to follow through with their monthly community event, they can continue to rent from the Collaborative.

Can I apply to share an office space with another provider?

Yes! If you and another provider would like to apply for office space together, you are more than welcome to. Or in your application you can note that you’d like to share office space with someone but do not have anyone in mind.

What is the office space like?

It’s pretty sweet. Big windows, but it’s on the second floor which allows for more privacy, (but it has an elevator which makes it wheelchair accessible). The office suite includes a waiting area, reception area, two conference rooms, and a kitchen.

How much is monthly rent for office space?

TMWC will bridge the gap between what providers can reasonably afford and the current market value. The belief is that providers will be able to pass along these savings to their clients. Rent prices are charged per square foot, are based on if the office is an interior or exterior office, and range from approximately $350 to $800 per month.

Are office spaces furnished?

While the waiting area, reception area, conferences rooms, and kitchen will be furnished, all tenants must furnish their own offices.

Can I use the conference space if I am not a tenant?

Yes! The conference rooms can be rented at very reasonable rates for mental wellness events at the discretion of the executive director. Please email: charlotte@mentalwellnessJH.org
