Confidentiality Agreement for Virtual Participants
All individuals attending Teton Mental Wellness Collaborative (TMWC) events are bound by the following TMWC Confidentiality Statement:
TMWC strives to provide a safe and welcoming space for education, enrichment, and support. Therefore, it is the policy of TMWC that information discussed in events facilitated by either TMWC tenants or outside organizations, as well as participants in said events, remains confidential.
Support group confidentiality is bound by the Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board rules as well as HIPAA regulations when groups are deemed clinical in nature. Other presentations may contain sensitive and private information and fall under this Confidentiality Agreement. Failure to comply with this agreement may result in suspended ability to participate in future TMWC programs and presentations.
Presenters speak only for themselves and their organizations. They do not speak for, nor are they endorsed by, TMWC. Our goal is solely to promote growth, learning, and Collaboration.
Additional Considerations for Virtual Attendance
In the interest of welcoming as much of our community as possible to engage in TMWC provider offerings, we will offer a virtual option when possible. If you are attending a group virtually, confidentiality concerns require some additional considerations. We strongly encourage virtual participants to use a listening device (ex. Headphones, Air pods, etc.) to ensure any non participants nearby are not able to hear the group. Participants are expected to have their cameras on, and to be in a private place with minimal distractions. Basically treat the situation as if you were in person attending a group. If you require special accommodations please reach out to the group leader ahead of the scheduled group to discuss.
The meeting host has the discretion to close virtual options should they deem it necessary
