The Sanarai Program
This program offers access to emotional support sessions with psychologists from Latin America, conducted entirely in Spanish and culturally adapted to the Latino Community. Sessions are conducted with an online Therapist who prioritizes safety and confidentiality. Your well-being is the top priority, and your openness to conversation is encouraged. You will not be limited but will be completely appreciated.
Who should sign up
If your first language is Spanish and you need a mentor with the same first language
If you feel stressed, anxious, worried, or any other emotions
If you are going through personal or family changes
If you have not been able to access mental health services due to cost, language barriers, or lack of options.
*If tele-health is not the right fit for you, see the local health providers listed below.
What You will Learn
Self-Awareness
In sessions, you will be learning and practicing self-awareness. By acknowledging your own thoughts and feelings, you will be able to understand not only yourself but also how to apply that knowledge in sessions and the real world.
Appropriate Communication Skills
Communication skills are another aspect that evolves over sessions. It is important to be open-minded by allowing yourself to verbalize how you feel, and understanding that communication may falter or improve with continued sessions. Staying positive can help you improve your communication skills, but practicing them will be the biggest benefit.
Practical Coping Strategies
Over sessions, your ability to cope with emotions and other challenges will progress. You will be able to make specific goals, problem-solve, and build resilience with your therapist, but most importantly with yourself. The biggest outcomes come from acknowledgment and consistent practice.
To Build Trust with Instructors
One of the most important things in therapy is finding the right person to talk to. On Sanarai, you will be able to choose your own therapist based on your needs and abilities. Your trust is their main priority because they want to build that relationship and see you succeed.
